Zuora

How to connect Zuora to NoChurn: what to paste, what NoChurn does in Zuora and what it reads.

Connect

In NoChurn, test mode first, open Integrations, pick Zuora and paste the fields below (or send them to POST /v1/billing_connections with provider: "zuora"). Use the provider’s test or sandbox credentials in test mode. Secrets are stored encrypted and never returned by the API.

FieldWhere to find it
environmentWhere your tenant lives (sandbox or test in Test mode) (one of sandbox, test, na_sandbox, eu_sandbox, eu_test, ap_test, production, na_production, eu_production, ap_production)
client_idSettings › Administration › Manage users › OAuth client (API user with read and subscription rights)
client_secretSECRETShown once when the OAuth client is created

NoChurn reads your Zuora tenant every 10 minutes (accounts, subscriptions, invoices, payments): no callout to configure. Retries and the payment page stay with Zuora.

What NoChurn does

RetriesZuora retries the payment (its own retry settings). NoChurn sends the recovery emails.
Card updateNo card update link from NoChurn for this provider.
Cancel flow offersApplied in Zuora: pause. An offer the provider cannot apply reaches your backend as a billing.*_requested webhook.
CancellationA cancellation requested in the cancel flow is carried out in Zuora.
DisputesZuora handles disputes. NoChurn shows them on the customer’s timeline.
EventsNoChurn reads Zuora every 10 minutes.
ImportThe last 12 months are imported when you connect (POST /v1/billing_connections/{id}/backfill imports again).

Fixed by Zuora, not by a setting: card update. The rest can be changed per connection with PATCH /v1/billing_connections/{id}.
