NoChurn documentation

Recover failed payments, prevent cancellations and win churned customers back, with Stripe in one click or any billing through the API.

NoChurn works on three kinds of churn: payments that fail, customers who want to cancel, and customers who already left. It reads your billing from Stripe (Stripe Connect), from a supported billing tool, or from your own code through the REST API, and acts in four flows: prevention, recovery, cancel and win-back.

Everything starts in test mode: test keys (nc_test_…) never retry a real payment and no email leaves NoChurn.

  • Quickstart: a test key, a first API call, your billing, then the cancel flow.
  • Concepts: test and live mode, the three customer ids, events, idempotency and the four flows.
  • API reference: every public endpoint, with examples.

Guides

  • Your own billing (API): send subscriptions and payment attempts when you do not bill with Stripe.
  • Cancel modal: the signed customer token and the headless cancel flow, with click to cancel at every step.
  • In-app banner and wall and Access check: what your app shows after a failed payment or during a pause, and the server-side check behind it.
  • Custom data: your own attributes and usage events, for the churn score and the churn drivers.
  • Webhooks: receive NoChurn’s events and verify their signature.
  • Chargebacks: disputes, evidence and early fraud warnings.
  • Test mode and sandbox: play a customer’s life in test mode and run the integration checklist.
  • AI apps and MCP: let a coding agent integrate NoChurn for you, in test mode.

Reference

  • Errors: every error code, with when it happens and how to fix it.
  • Webhook events: every event type, with an example payload.
  • Integrations: Stripe, billing platforms, merchants of record, payment providers, app stores and help desks.
