APP STORE
NoChurn + App Store
Apple keeps payments and the cancel button. NoChurn reads every subscription change and acts where Apple allows.
HOW IT WORKS
Connected in three steps
- 01
Create an In-App Purchase key in App Store Connect and add it in NoChurn with your bundle ID, sandbox first.
- 02
Paste the NoChurn URL as your App Store Server Notifications URL.
- 03
In your app, set an appAccountToken at purchase and send it to NoChurn with your user ID, so each subscription is matched to a customer.
WHAT NOCHURN DOES
Who does what
| Feature | Done by | How |
|---|---|---|
| Failed payments | App Store | Apple retries the payment. NoChurn tells the user in your app or by email and links to Apple’s subscription settings. |
| Refund requests | NoChurn | When Apple asks about a refund request, NoChurn sends the customer’s real usage from your data. |
| Cancel flows | Uses this data | Your app shows the NoChurn flow (headless API) before linking to Apple’s cancel page. Apple’s own cancel button always works. |
| Win-back | NoChurn | Emails at day 30, 60 and 90, written from the cancel reason, with a link to come back. |
| Churn score | NoChurn | A 0–100 score at signup and at every change, from the payment method, signup source and your custom data. |
| Custom data & AI | NoChurn | Your own attributes and usage, sent by API, matched to the same customers. |
NOCHURN READS
- Subscription status, renewals and expirations
- Billing problems and grace periods
- Auto-renew turned off (a sign the customer plans to leave)
- Refunds and refund requests
STAYS WITH APP STORE
- Payments, retries and grace periods
- The cancel button in iOS settings
- Refund decisions
Apple does not share the customer’s email. Without the appAccountToken, NoChurn cannot match a subscription to a customer.
